Advanced Energy Industries Inc. says it has launched its Ascent product line, a new suite of DC power-supply systems that the company says simplifies power-supply integration in thin-film applications, including solar. The new systems are now available worldwide in 30 kW, 40 kW and 60 kW models.

The new Ascent suite is designed specifically to manage sensitive processes and features patented Arc Management System technology to deliver reliable, stable and repeatable power throughout the manufacturing process, Advanced Energy explains. The new systems are currently in volume production and are available for immediate shipment.
